Workgroups & Task Forces

Artisanal Collective supports issue-specific and sector-focused workgroups led by experts and advisors. These teams develop actionable recommendations, policy briefs, and scalable models for sustainable artisan empowerment. 

Examples: Partnership Development, Workgroups & Task Force Leadership & Coordination, Executive Leadership & Management Support, Leadership Council Ambassador & Outreach, Artisan Empowerment, and Product Design.

Each Workgroup has a corresponding Task Force focused on deliverables, campaigns, and hands-on tasks.

Artisanal Collective Workgroups bring together subject matter experts, advisors, and contributors to solve specific challenges and advance scalable solutions across the artisan economy.

Each workgroup has a Chair and optional Co-Chair, supported by volunteers and fellows. Deliverables may include research briefs, pilot projects, partnership models, or capacity-building resources.

Executive Leadership & Management Support Workgroups & Task Force Leadership & Coordination Interested in helping organize and support the people powering our workgroups and task forces? This includes scheduling, follow-up, logistics, and making sure working teams stay aligned and productive.
Leadership Council Ambassador & Outreach Strategic outreach to leaders from business, government, and philanthropy to join, align and help lead our mission
Artisan Empowerment Support artisans with coaching, business training, and tools to grow their economic independence. This includes e-commerce support, financial literacy, and, where appropriate, women's empowerment training — as women make up over 70% of the global artisan community.
Product Design Provide sustainable design advice, Co-create artisan goods, Help develop product lines,
Technology / Tools Help build artisan tools/platforms, Contribute to app development, Provide technical consulting
