HeritageCorps™: A Global Volunteer Force

From Planeteers to heritage champions.

Inspired by the legacy of Captain Planet’s Planeteers™, our HeritageCorps™ is a new global volunteer movement made up of individuals who celebrate cultural diversity, uplift artisan communities, and champion the preservation of heritage.

Members engage with the Artisanal Collective through storytelling, contribute their time and skills, and serve as local ambassadors for cultural heritage. This is where passion becomes purpose—whether you’re a student, artisan enthusiast, educator, or simply someone curious about your roots.

Barbara Pyle, co-creator and executive producer of the original Captain Planet and the Planeteers animated series—and co-founder and former chair of the Captain Planet Foundation (1991–2001)—is actively helping to shape the vision and direction of HeritageCorps™.
